ICONtact version 1.1 submitted

Late last night, Josh submitted the new version of ICONtact for Apple approval, and with luck, it'll be live on the App Store shortly. Strangely, the current ICONtact iTunes page adopted the text and screenshots from the update submission – an App Store bug, maybe?

The goods for version 1.1:

  • Improved look and feel, new icons
  • Decreased load time on launch
  • Added toggle to view all contacts / only contacts with images
  • Pagination!
  • Various bug fixes

Thanks to those of you that have sent in bug reports and suggestions, we take 'em seriously here at Hive05.

  1. On selecting a contact, does the program then give you a screen with the ability to call/text/email the contact as per the standard contacts program?

  2. Yes the application uses the built-in screens once you have selected your contacts. It simply gives you another view other than the plain list, everything else is pretty much the same.
